GENTLE PORE TONIC successfully combines three ingredients to heal and calm sensitivities. Each one of these ingredients are stand-alone triumphs, but formulated together they have created a patent-worthy success story.
Lichochalocone, a highly active 'fraction' (or key derivative) from Licorice Roots, was tested to be superior to Benzoyl Peroxide in its anti-acne, oil control, sebum regulator and anti-inflammatory benefits. It is the perfect ingredient for sensitive skin with break-outs. Additionally, the 'super extract' of the powdered bark from Magnolia Grandiflora, is a trifecta of benefits: anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and a serious free-radical scavenger, thanks to the high potent activity of two key molecular constituents: Magnolol and Honokiol.
We could have stopped there, but we added one more incredible anti-inflammatory, Asiaticoside, which helps with dermis regeneration by stimulating collagen synthesis and protects collagen from degradation, as an MMPI (matrix metalloproteinase inhibitor).
The GENTLE PORE TONIC is uniquely formulated with a low dose of Salicylic Acid in order to gently clear away oil and debris, without stripping the skin of valuable, healthy nutrients or moisture. While the oil and debris are removed from the skin, Lysophosphatidic Acid (a spectacular, multifunctional ingredient) improves keratinization and limits parakeratosis which are results of inflammation. It was proven to reduce large pore sizes by 20% in just four (4) short weeks on individuals who used it twice a day.
